Influenster Moda Vox Box Review

Influenster Moda Vox Box review

This month I was eligible for Influenster’s Moda Vox Box. Influenster is a platform that sends you free stuff in exchange for your reviews. The goal is to leverage your social media to promote new and fun products. They send full-size products and sometimes pretty awesome freebies, like my Keurig 2.0 that I received for FREE!  Anyone can sign up – just go to website to get started! There was a clear theme in this box with tons of products that will keep you moisturized and hydrated. Check out what I got in my Moda Vox Box.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Rockin Curves Mascara ($5.50) – My experience with this brush has been a love/hate relationship. It’s a curvy brush that is supposed to fit your lashes, but I end up just getting a lot of product on my middle eyelashes and none towards to end. Usually, I like to do the opposite. However, the brush doesn’t add TOO much product and give your spider leg eyelashes. Here is a before and after with 3 light coats. It’s slightly noticeable but not wham in your face. I think it’s good for everyday light makeup use, but not for special occasions.

Before

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick ($7.00) and Lip Liner ($6.00) – The lipstick and lip liner feel like chap stick on your lips and are definitely moisturizing. The lipstick isn’t heavily pigmented so on my skin tone it comes off more like a tinted lip moisturizer rather than a lipstick. It’s shiny, not matte. I would say it’s the same as the mascara and good for everyday use.

Puffs SoftPack ($2.00) – These are fun, giant versions of their pocket tissues really. I used mine while watching Dr. Who- #toomanyfeels . I would say this is great for moms on the go and travelers who are sick. Let’s face it, you definitely need way more than 8 tissues in the mini packs.

Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask ($11.99) – I used this a few weeks ago and I have to say it actually works really well. You don’t need a lot of product to get coverage and your hair feels softer for days after using it. I’m a fan!

Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa ($2.29) – I always use hot milk when I make hot chocolate because it always makes it super chocolate-y and creamy.  So good! They only use 5 ingredients in this product- sugar, cocoa, nonfat milk, salt and natural flavors. Nothing artificial. I have nothing bad to say- it was simply delicious

JERGENS Ultra healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer ($6.00) Being brown, I get ashy quite often. It’s a fact I have to live. When I say this lotion is long lasting, it is LONG lasting. I didn’t have to reapply lotion once during the day! I’ll be buying myself another bottle when I run out.

Resource Spring Water ($1.50) – Living in SF, water bottle buyers are shunned. Also we get some of the most amazing water from the Hetch Hetchy reservoir from our faucets. So I never buy any bottled water unless I’m super thirsty and near a water fountain. As for the water- it’s water- no funky, metallic or chlorinated taste, therefore I give it a thumbs up!

Studio Hall Shore-Line Triple Milled Shea Butter Soap ($10.00) – This paired with the Jergens lotion is amaze-balls. It smells SO good and it doesn’t leave you with that weird soapy feeling after you’re done. I would use it just for the scent alone really.

I received  the products mentioned above for free using Influenster.com. Regardless, the above notes are my personal opinion of each product.
