Gorgonzola & Pesto Pasta (30 minute meal)

pesto gorgonzola pasta It’s that time of the week where I am officially running out of food and I’m too lazy to get more groceries. This is my meal of last resort. I actually only used freezer and pantry ingredients. Yup, I have now resorted to my freezer for food, as my fridge has offcially run out. I used frozen peas, gorgonzola, and pesto. The sweetness from the peas and the saltiness from the parmesan in the pesto work really together. I had to stop myself from eating it all so that I could save some for my husband for dinner! It’s such an easy meal and with 4 ingredients, you can’t go wrong.

Cook time: 30 min                                                   Makes: 2 servings

1 cup of pasta (uncooked)
4-5 tbsp of pesto
1/4 cup of gorgonzola
1/2 cup peas

1. Cook the pasta according to the package.

2. Add the drained pasta back into the saucepan and add in the gorgonzola cheese and stir until it’s all melted over low heat.

3. Add the pesto (to your taste) and peas and stir until the peas are cooked.

4. Serve and Enjoy 🙂
